Massive organizational restructuring, amidst a still fragile global economy, and accelerated breakthroughs in the IT world are just some of the complex factors facing today’s organizations and the individuals who run them.
Dramatic changes of any kind always offer the potential for new growth and innovation. However, rapid and far-reaching change also brings with it unanticipated obstacles and challenges. Many executives today are hiring personal coaches to provide them with additional support and resources.
I specialize in helping executives enhance their capacity to implement and maintain lasting change within themselves and those they manage. While I incorporate some traditional coaching models, my work is unique in that it focuses on the individual and group dynamics that influence and drive the culture of the organization. Rather than revisiting goal setting and decision-making skills, I teach executives how to identify the underlying psychological factors that impede success and erode effective collaboration.
This psychodynamic approach allows executives to incorporate a more sophisticated and effective model of human development into their management and leadership practices. By better understanding the complexity of the human psyche, executives can can greatly enhance motivation, build an atmosphere of cohesion, avoid the pitfalls of scapegoating, and integrate personal and professional goals more effectively.
I offer consultations in my Santa Monica office, in off-site locations, as well via telephone and video conferencing.
